Welcome to Year 5

Homework for this weekend (24th March)

 

Please go on Reading Plus and complete one lesson.

Please go on times table rockstars and complete a competition.

 

We will be checking this on Wednesday :) 

Homework

 

Homework will be set for English and Maths once a week every Friday; it will be expected back into school on a Wednesday.

 

Children will be issued with a reading book every Monday.

 

They must read at least four times per week and record what they have read into their reading record books.

 

Children must return their reading books each Friday and their reading record will be checked. 

PE

 

PE lessons will take place twice a week.

 

Children will be expected to take their PE kit home each week in order for it to be washed.

 

It must come back into school every Monday.

Year 5 are representing The Rosary School in this years Earthshot Project, focusing on canals and the environment. 

Year 5 have taken part in CAFOD's Big Lent walk, raising money for our global family.

Visiting the Symphony Hall and Central Library.

Learning new skills in PE - gaelic football.
