Fr Hudson's Family support service supports families and children to overcome adversity and disadvantage they face, particularly where these are affecting a child's emotional well-being, mental health or educational achievement. Our support worker, Maria, works with families to help children who are experiencing difficulties both at home and at school. She will work in collaboration with the family to motivate parents to bring about change, strengthen relationships within families and promote children's well-being and resilience. Through both 1:1 and sometimes group work, the support offered by Maria empowers families to effect lasting change. This service is offered on a referral basis through Mrs Banks.
