The impact of our curriculum at The Rosary enables children to develop detailed knowledge and skills across the seven areas of learning in an age-appropriate way.
As leaders and practitioners we evaluate the impact of our curriculum by checking what children know and can do. This is when we identify how we have made a different to children’s learning and development.
You can see the impact of the education we provide by our observations and assessments of children, talking to the children and adults and by how our staff are able to describe how well we know our children.
We ensure the children have a smooth transition process within the EYFS phase and moving from Reception to Year 1. Children are ready to continue their learning journey as they progress to the National Curriculum. This is supported by the EYFS / Year 1 staff working closely together to ensure they are aware of the children's individual next steps in their learning.
