Inspections

OFSTED

Our school was last inspected by OFSTED in March 2024 when we were judged to be a good school in all areas.

These are just some of the strengths OFSTED noted:

  • Pupils at ‘The Rosary’ feel safe and well cared for.
  • Staff are united in their drive to ‘live, love and learn together.’
  • Staff understand pupils’ needs.
  • The school has high expectations for all pupils.
  • Pupils behave very well in lessons and when out on the playground.
  • Pupils enjoy a wide range of experiences.

Religious Inspection

Our last Section 48 Religious Inspection from the Diocesan Education Service was in December 2022, when we were judged to be a good Catholic school.

These are some of the strengths noted by The Catholic School Inspectorate:

  • Christ is at the heart of The Rosary
  • There is a strong sense of family, inclusivity, and mutual respect.
  • Pupils enjoy the many varied opportunities they have to participate in prayer.
  • Pupils are very attentive and respectful when they gather together in class or as a whole school community. Their faith enables prayer and liturgy at the school to be truly celebrated.
  • Strong relationships amongst the school community drive the many varied Catholic life and mission initiatives provided.
  • Catholic values and virtues are well-embedded into its culture, with pupils referring to them in their learning.
